Live session agreement
Live Yoga Nidra sessions happen on Google Meet. Joining a session means you agree to the points below, along with the terms and health disclaimer. They're here so everyone in the room can rest.
Before you join
- Set yourself up somewhere safe to lie down or sit, where it's fine to drift toward sleep. Never join while driving or somewhere you need to stay alert.
- If you have a health condition, injury, or pregnancy, or you're going through something hard, check with your own provider first. You're welcome to message me beforehand if you'd like the practice adapted.
During the session
- Your camera is optional, and microphones stay muted while I'm guiding.
- You can move, open your eyes, sit up, or leave at any time. Nothing needs to be endured.
- If something difficult comes up, it's okay to stop. You can message me privately in the chat, and the crisis numbers on the terms page are there if you need them.
- These sessions are a practice space, not therapy or treatment.
Privacy in the group
- I don't record live sessions. If that ever changes, I'll tell you before the session, and only my voice and screen would be recorded.
- Please don't record, photograph, or screenshot other participants.
- Anything someone shares in the session stays in the session.
Respect
These sessions are open to everyone, including people from LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities and people in recovery. Harassment or disruptive behavior isn't tolerated, and I may remove anyone from a session to keep it safe for others.
Your consent
By joining, you confirm you're 18 or older, you take part voluntarily, and you accept the risks described in the terms and health disclaimer, including the release of liability to the extent the law allows.
